Word Document Reformatting and Stylizing Is Now Even Easier and Faster

Washington, D.C. (December 15, 2003) - Levit & James, Inc., a leading provider of software utilities and conversion programs, today announced the release of Stylizer Version 2.1. Stylizer can reformat and apply paragraph styles to a Microsoft Word document of any size, in as little as three mouse clicks. Version 2.1 offers a number of improvements that make the reformatting and stylizing of Word documents even easier than previous versions.

With version 2.1, Stylizer incorporates into the Paragraph Wizard several features introduced into the Whole Document Wizard in version 2.0, such as the Snap feature that allows you to round indentation and/or number position values when grouping/searching document paragraphs and the ability to process a document one section at a time. In addition, both Wizards now allow you to categorize paragraphs according to their “effective” first-line indent, which combines first-line indent, leading spaces, and leading tabs for grouping/searching the document paragraphs.

Stylizer is a useful tool to use when:

Ø Performing standard document preparation to ensure proper formatting through the use of styles.

Ø Upgrading from an older version of Word to Word 2002/XP or Word 2003.

Ø Implementing a new macro package where one needs to take older documents and move them into new templates and paragraph styles.

Ø Receiving documents from an outside organization that need to be converted to a firm’s in-house style; a process that used to take hours can now be completed in minutes.

Ø Using Levit & James’ CrossWords utility to convert a document from WordPerfect to Word; although CrossWords will automate much of the application of Paragraph Styles, the final reformatting requires user input and can easily be completed with Stylizer.
