Reveal codes for Microsoft Word with CrossEyes
CrossEyes
is a Microsoft Word add-in that reveals all, enabling you to identify
and resolve document formatting problems. You will no longer have to waste
your time on guesswork when your Word document behaves erratically, because
CrossEyes gives you the answers in a WordPerfect " Reveal Codes"-like
format which will tell you exactly why you're having problems and what
needs to be done to solve them.
Using CrossEyes
couldn't be more straightforward. To reveal the codes in Word, simply
click the CrossEyes button in the panel. A new window will open at the
bottom of your document, allowing you to see and change the formatting.
It shows formatting and object codes in-line with your document's text.
Each category of information is color-coded, allowing you to quickly distinguish
between character formatting, section properties, field codes and more.
To edit what you see, simply double-click on any code.
As well as
revealing the codes, CrossEyes includes a number of additional functions.
It provides added document navigation capability: you can navigate by
section break or sequential headers or footers, easily navigate through
footnotes/endnotes and use the CrossEyes anchor button to return to the
location of the text where any footnote/endnote is located.
