CrossEyes Product Description

CrossEyes is the only Levit & James, Inc. Product being offered in this proposal.

CrossEyes Software is a time-saving add-in to Microsoft Word. It allows a Word user to view all of the formatting details of a document in one view. CrossEyes uses color-coded format codes to show how text is formatted as well as the location of images, textboxes, tables, etc. It makes it easy to edit the formatting of a Word document: when the user double-clicks on a format code in the CrossEyes display that they want to modify, the appropriate Word dialogue box appears. Compatibility: : CrossEyes 4.0 is designed to work with the Microsoft Windows computer operating system and Microsoft Word word processor. CrossEyes can be used with Word 2000 through Word 2007, that is installed on Windows 2000, XP, or Vista. CrossEyes does not function on any computer operating system other than Windows.

NOTE: CrossEyes License Pricing does not include a CD and Manual. The software is available for download on the Levit & James, Inc. website: http://www.levitjames.com. The license file will be emailed to the Customer.

Site Licenses for CrossEyes are available to government agencies or sites that 1) have more than 100 PCs with Microsoft Word, that 2) purchase a copy of CrossEyes for every PC in their agency, or at their site, which has a copy of Microsoft Word, and that 3) have a centralized help desk which will provide a single designated point of contact for Levit & James, Inc. technical support. Purchasing a site license entitles the Customer to additional discounts (see price list for details).

• If you were a customer who had a current Software Subscription as of October 1, 2007, OR, if you purchased CrossEyes after that date, then you are entitled to Version 4.0 AT NO FURTHER CHARGE.  You will also be entitled to any fixes which are released for Version 4.0, for the indefinite future, AT NO FURTHER CHARGE.
• When Microsoft releases new versions of Word or Windows, Levit & James will evaluate whether we can develop a compatible version of CrossEyes at that time.  If we do, and if we designate that version as Version 5, then we will offer it to our customers for an upgrade price;  we expect that the price of the upgrade will be LESS than what we would have charged our customers for SSS fees in the interim.
