Dynamic Web-based Educational Resource Provides
Free Training to Best Authority Customers and Evaluators
Leesburg, VA – August 5, 2008 – In September 2008, Levit & James, Inc. will launch Best Authority Online University (BAOU), a unique combination of live internet webinars and on- demand E-Learning modules that will provide training in Best Authority, the legal market’s leading software for creating a Table of Authorities (TOA). BAOU will be available to Best Authority customers with active Software Subscription Service (SSS) and to organizations running trial evaluations of the software. The E-Learning modules are free, and there will be no charge for the live webinars through the end of 2008.
According to Ian Levit, VP of Sales for Levit & James, “We are proud to announce the upcoming release of Best Authority Online University. It is our intention that BAOU will supplement our customers’ education programs, helping them to train new hires and in-house trainers, and to refresh users’ skills so they can leverage Best Authority products to full advantage. BAOU is not meant to replace a law firm’s in-house training or a professional legal training company.”
Live Best Authority Webinars
Best Authority Online University will offer live (not pre-recorded) web-based training classes for both Best Authority Light and Best Authority Premium editions. These sessions will be conducted by experienced instructors several times per month. Available classes will include Best Authority Light, Best Authority Advanced Interface 101 and Best Authority Advanced Interface 102.
Additional web training sessions will be added soon after BAOU’s initial launch. These will teach other advanced Best Authority features and administration, such as creating Best Authority Schemes.
E-Learning Modules
BAOU also includes a variety of E-Learning modules which can be downloaded and then viewed on demand. These training tools are accessible from office, home, or when traveling. The modules can be viewed in chapters for even greater convenience. Each module is available either as a standalone program that runs on a PC, or as a SCORM 1.2 compliant course that is compatible with most Learning Management Systems (LMSs).
At initial launch, the E-Learning modules for Best Authority Light and Premium 101 will be immediately available for download. Levit & James will continue to add to this Course Library over time, so it will ultimately comprise a complete collection of E-Learning tools.
