• Best Authority Does It Right

Best Authority simplifies creating a TOA into three steps. After an automatic scan for citations, Best Authority provides easy-to-use tools for editing and correcting what will go into the TOA. A TOA can then be created with any formatting options required. Formatting options are stored in Schemes which you can give easy-to-remember names, like a court or attorney, for quick retrieval. Unlike other products on the market, all edits done with Best Authority are permanent. When you rescan a document for citations, you never have to redo your previous corrections. You can print out the document, with all citations highlighted in color, for easy review and proofing by an attorney or paralegal.

• Why We Developed Best Authority

We developed Best Authority at the request of law firms, most of whom were so disappointed in the existing product for building a TOA, that they stopped using it, and resorted to the time-consuming manual mark-up of citations in Word!
